Rihanna is blasting radio stations for changing the title of her new track "S&M" to make it sound more appropriate on the radio, according to Marie Claire.
There were rumors that BBC Radio One first changed the title from "S&M" to "Come On" to make it sound less racy. This would allow the song to be played on their Sunday afternoon chart show. They also cut out words such as "sex," "chains," and "whips" from the chorus.
RiRi's record label reportedly also toned down the song so that it would be eligible to place on the commercial charts.
When the singer found out about the change she tweeted: "Are you f*cking kidding me? 'S&M' called 'Come On' now? That's BS [b*llsh*t]!"
She added that she was "absolutely not" okay with the change of the name, especially without them consulting with her first.
Radio One has said they will play the original unedited version of the song after hours, but during the day they will play the edited version.
