DJ Koul first started learning to DJ-ing at the age of 13, where he spent every Friday and Saturday night staring in awe as the DJ's at his father's nightspot blew the roof off my with their unique sound and mixing styles.
Koul's first break came as both DJ's were booked elsewhere and somebody had to fill in until they got there....The rest is history.
Staying open minded, DJ Koul developed his own sound, style and technique in mixing HOUSE, RNB, DANCE, 80's FUNK, GREEK and even trying his luck with Italian, Arabic, Brazilian and more (at private functions).
Koul's first club gig was at Cavo Paradiso at Watershed (Darling Harbour Sydney), when he was just 16. He had a "minder" to make sure he didn't go to the bar or get into any trouble. DJ Koul has played alongside Sydney's finest, and had a taste of DJ-ing in clubs overseas and interstate.

DJ Koul has played at some of the finest venues in Sydney,and interstate - including: THE EASTERN (Bondi, Sydney), WATERSHED (Darling Harbour Sydney), SAPPHIRE LOUNGE (Kings Cross, Sydney), REPUBLIC HOTEL (Sydney), V-BAR (Sydney), THE BOURBON (Kings Cross), COOGEE BAY HOTEL (Coogee), SHARK BAR (Sydney), VAULT HOTEL (Sydney), THE GAFF (Darlinghurst), THE MANSION (Darlinghurst), and GILLIGANS RESORT (Cairns, Queensland) and many many more.
The Highlight of his DJ-ing career came in 2007 where DJ Koul made his international debut at CIRCUS (Larnaca, Cyprus), AMOS BEACH BAR (Larnaca, Cyprus). Soon to follow was the greatest experience of his life, hearing his own name on a radio commercial for one of Cyprus' biggest Superclub's, CLUB BLING, which held close to 1200 partygoers.
DJ Koul is aspiring to becoming a successful DJ, an even better known name in Sydney's clubbing circle, and try his hand in production and remixing - with an open mind in genre's. Everybody who has joined DJ Koul on his journey so far, like DJ Koul himself, can't wait to see where things take him
