Rihanna and Eminem were among the big winners at the Billboard Music Awards over the weekend. The event took place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 22 and the "S&M" singer kicked off the night with a performance alongside Britney Spears.
Eminem reigned supreme at this year's event taking home Artist of the Year. And though the Detroit MC was not on hand to receive the awards, he went on to also score Top Male Artist, Billboard 200 Album, Rap Artist, Rap Song and Rap Album for his 2010 release Recovery.
Riri also had a big night in the awards department taking three awards home including the Top Female and Top Radio Artist of the year. Other top winners at the event included Justin Bieber, who won six awards, and Taylor Swift who took the Top Country Album and Billboard 200 Artist prizes.
