Lil Wayne has announced that he is working on a documentary of his "I Am Music 2" tour.
Wayne, whose tour with Rick Ross and Nicki Minaj ends in Vancouver this Friday, opened up about the doc with MTV's Sway Calloway.
"I just felt like a movie like [this one] hasn't come out in so long. At that time when they put those movies out, we as the fans were interested in what they were doing on the road . . . Nobody hasn't came around since then that was that interesting other than Young Money (sic). It's going to be real major; it's going to be real big."
The film will feature interviews and backstage footage as well as snippets of tour performances with his Young Money music labelmates.
No release date for the film has been announced yet.
