Lil Wayne Tour Documentary In The Works
Lil Wayne has announced that he is working on a documentary of his "I Am Music 2" tour.
Wayne, whose tour with Rick Ross and Nicki Minaj ends in Vancouver this Friday, opened up about the doc with MTV's Sway Calloway.
"I just felt like a movie like [this one] hasn't come out in so long. At that time when they put those movies out, we as the fans were interested in what they were doing on the road . . . Nobody hasn't came around since then that was that interesting other than Young Money (sic). It's going to be real major; it's going to be real big."
The film will feature interviews and backstage footage as well as snippets of tour performances with his Young Money music labelmates.
No release date for the film has been announced yet.

Musiq Soulchild Premieres New Music
Musiq Soulchild has premiered "Dowehaveto," a new song taken from his upcoming full length MusiqInTheMagiq. The album is due out May 3 through Atlantic Records.
"Dowehaveto" was produced by Jesse "Corporal" Wilson and finds the R&B crooner waxing nostalgic about a past relationship that was anything but perfect.
"Time and time again you got me wondering / Why is it I ain't getting through every time that we have an argument / You always trying to win / I'm just getting loud again, but you ain't really mad at me," he sings on the new track.
MusiqInTheMagiq is the follow up to 2008's well received OnMyRadio, which peaked at number 11 on the Billboard 200 chart. It also hit number one on the R&B/Hip-Hop Album chart.

The Game Detained in Canada
The Game is not having a good time on April 20 (Wednesday). The Compton rapper was on the way to Canada from Los Angeles when he was detained at customs for three hours. The "Hate It or Love It" MC was headed to Nova Scotia for a show at the Halifax Forum, whose website now notes that the performance has been canceled.
The Game kept fans abreast of his situation via Twitter. "Been in Customs for 3 hours....... #patienceIsAvirtue" was Game's first tweet from his @thegame account regarding his travel troubles.
The next succession of tweets revealed his border troubles were going from bad to worse. "Customs officials just denied me entry into Canada. I'm sorry 2 ALL my fans but I was mislead by promoters & assured I would be able 2 enter," he tweeted.
The Game then informed his followers that he is going to be detained for 14 days, after which he will go before a judge that will determine if he'll be deported or jailed for violating Canada's immigration entry laws. The information flow came to a stop after he tweeted that his phone and property were being confiscated by officials.
Patrizia Giolti, a representative of the Canada Border Service Agency, told MTV News that the information Game relayed before his phone privileges were yanked is incorrect. According to Canadian legislation, when a foreign national is detained, they must have a detention review hearing before the Immigration and Refugee Board within 48 hours of their detention. However, Canada's Privacy Act prevented Giolti from commenting on the specifics of the Game's file.
Ironically, before boarding his plane to Canada, the rapper tweeted that he had not been to the country since the release of his debut album, The Documentary in 2005

50 Cent Prepping Follow Up Album
G-Unit leader 50 Cent has officially announced plans to tease fans with the first single off his latest solo album since 2009's Before I Self Destruct. Although he did not announce an exact date, 50 said the track would debut sometime this week.

Krayzie Bone Departs From Bone Thugz N Harmony
Bone Thugs-N-Harmony's Flesh-N-Bone has shared his reaction to Krayzie's unexpected departure from the group last week by promising the brand will move forward. Using choice words to describe Krayzie's decision, Flesh said the group still remains in tact.
Krayzie announced:
"I will no longer be a part of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony," Krayzie revealed in a video. "Due to uncontrollable circumstances, it's basically time for me to move on and just start embarking on different endeavors I've already had planned in my life. Just trying to go to a whole other level in the music game, I am trying to grow and become greater at what I do."

Lil Wayne Pushes Tha Carter IV Back To June
Lil Wayne has confirmed that his forthcoming album Tha Carter IV has been pushed back to be released in June. The album was initially slated to drop May 16; thus far Weezy has given no official reason for the delay.
In addition to the upcoming album, Wayne also made recent headlines when two body guards working at his recent tour stop in Bloomington, Indiana were arrested for impersonating public servants.
The pair, Ronald Andre Harrod, 43, and Larry Lee Richardson, 23, reportedly wore uniforms including gun belts and drove cars with flashing red and blue lights while leading a motorcade of Wayne's personnel to the show.
Reps for the Young Money boss also recently denied rumors that he will perform in the U.K. this summer. In an official statement, the reps said that Wayne has not filed for visas to enter the U.K. and that he will instead extend his U.S. tour.
"No visa was ever filed, nor were there any tour dates announced or tickets sold," said the rep.

LA Leakers & DJ Quik Mixtape
For those that aren’t familiar with the LA Leakers (DJ Sourmilk & Justin Credible) and their audio-biographies, this is basically an audio book with DJ Quik telling stories of certain songs through his career. Many say DJ Quik is one of the most overlooked West Coast artist, although he’s mentioned a lot, but not mentioned enough in comparison to all the classic material he’s put out and produced since the late 80′s.
His new album, “The Book of David”, is no different. It drops on 20th April 2011, so make sure you go support one of the few artists that’s still putting out quality music these days!

Game Sports New Hair-Do
West Coast rapper Game has come under fire for his latest fashion statement: a bright, red mohawk.
A photo of Game's new hairstyle appeared online Monday afternoon (below).
The leader of the "Red Nation," Game, has dyed his hair red in honor of his upcoming R.E.D. Album. The West Coast rapper showed off his fiery red Mohawk courtesy of his barber, pictured. The first single from his album, the Lil Wayne-assisted "Red Nation," is scheduled to hit iTunes on April 12, with the video being shot soon after.
Drake Not Leaving Young Money
Drake has reaffirmed his allegiance to Lil Wayne's record label, Young Money, by publicly denying claims he wants to leave the company.
The Canadian rapper joined Wayne and Nicki Minaj's I Am Music II tour in Washington, D.C., where he took to the stage with Wayne on their hit "Miss Me." After performing the track, Wayne told the crowd, "It was people like Drake and people like y'all that made me feel like I wasn't even there, so I appreciate that s**t. I really do. I just wanted you to miss me while I was gone!"
Drake responded by telling Wayne, "I love you with all my heart, my brother. I love you with all my heart . . . It's Young Money, baby!"
Drake had denied claims he wanted to leave the label over disputes with Wayne and label co-owner Birdman, saying of the rumors, "Boy, are you out your mother f***ing mind? Man, I want this sh*t forever!"
Drake is currently working on his second album.

David Guetta ft. Flo Rida & Nicki Minaj - Where Dem Girls At
David Guetta has offered up a preview of his new single "Where Dem Girls At" featuring Nicki Minaj and Flo Rida. The French DJ will include the track on his forthcoming solo LP, which he has previously stated will be out sometime this summer.
On the track, Guetta brings a thumping beat and catchy bass line while Nicki spits about her preferred method for entering the club.
She raps: "Coming through the club, all the girls in the back of me/ This ain't football, why the f**k they tryna tackle me?"
While speaking with MTV about the track earlier this year, Guetta explained that Nicki was initially apprehensive about the track leading her to pull back from guest appearances.
" ...We met. I was gonna play records, but she said, 'You know, you should know that I wanna do a solo record. I don't want to be with somebody else,'" Guetta explained.
"So I said, 'OK, no problem. Can I just play you that record?' And that record is so big that it's undeniable. And she was like, 'OK, I'll do that last one.' And it's a major record!"

Beyoncé's New Album Slated For June Release
Beyoncé is reported to be preparing a June release for her new album.
The R&B diva is said to be working with collaborators as diverse as hip-hop producers The-Dream, Darkchild and Jim Jonsin, as well as DJ Diplo, Odd Future's Frank Ocean and rock groups Of Montreal and Sleigh Bells.
Speaking to MTV last year of her new album's varied influences, the singer said: "I'm mixing every type of genre that I love and I'm inspired by every type of genre . . . it's just everything I love all mixed together in my own little gumbo of music."
Sony Music Australia chief Denis Handlin noted that he listened to six of the new tracks, saying: "She wants to do a big tour off the back of this record . . . these songs, the best description I can give is groundbreaking; she's gone to another level."
Beyoncé recently split with her manager and father Jim Knowles and has been confirmed as a headliner at June's Glastonbury festival.

Charlie Sheen is at it again, this time with Snoop Dogg. The rapper can be seen sitting next to Sheen in a pic the actor tweeted.
The unlikely duo appear to be in the midst of a recording session as Sheen is sporting studio headphones and flanked by Korn touring guitarist Rob Patterson.
The former Two And A Half Men star explained the photo somewhat cryptically on Twitter: "Warlock meets his makers-music makers that is @SnoopDog @robpatterson666 get ready to rock the Sheenius within!"
There have been no indications what direction, if any, the collaboration has gone in.
Sheen is set to kick off his My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat Is Not an Option tour on April 2 in Detroit. Details regarding the content of the tour shows have been equally foggy.

Diddy-Dirty Money Release New Video For "Your Love"
The new music video for "Your Love," the latest track from Diddy-Dirty Money, has been released online. The video features appearances by Trey Songz, Rick Ross, Dawn Richards and Kalenna.
Produced by Polow da Don and directed by Colin Tilley, the video for "Your Love" finds Diddy, Ross and Songz rocking out at an intimate underground party. The song is the latest single taken off Diddy's Last Train to Paris album, which debuted at number seven on the Billboard chart when it was released this past December.
Diddy-Dirty Money have announced a nationwide tour entitled the Coming Home tour, a two-month long trek that spans from April 13 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to May 15 in St. Louis, Missouri. The Coming Home tour will also take the group through New York City, Boston and Los Angeles.
