50 Cent Blasts Interscope Records & Threatens to Leak Dr Dre's New Single
The controversial rapper made headlines once again with a series of fiery tweets aimed at his record label.
The G-Unit captain had announced plans to release his fifth album this fall, but is now threatening to pump the brakes. “Man I’m not releasing a album i can’t believe interscope is this f*cked up right now. I apologize to all my fans,” wrote a fuming 50.
His anger is likely related to the handling of his latest single “Outlaw,” which is currently No. 141 on iTunes. “I will work with other artist on there projects but I will not put out another album,” he continued. “They dropped the ball with me one time to many.”
As part of his wrath, he vowed to leak a single off Dr. Dre’s Detox. “I LOVE DRE but I’m putting his next single psycho out tomorrow at 2:00 #SK,” he said. “Your gonna love it its a big song I just don’t think it deserves a great set up sense they can’t seem to get it right when it comes to me.”

Drake Spills Some Info About "Take Care" Album
In a recent interview that Drizzy had with Rolling Stone Magazine he previewed his new CD "Take Care", and he confirmed three songs titles "Shot For Me", "Free Spirit" ft. Rick Ross, and "The Real Her" ft. Lil Wayne.
Drake also told Rolling Stone that he would like to collab with someone on a track called "The Weekend". "Take Care drops on October 25th.
Boyz II Men In The Studio For 20th Anniversary New Release
Boyz II Men will be celebrating their 20th anniversary with a new double CD release - their first new release in ten years.
The album-entitled Twenty-will feature 10 new songs and 10 reworked versions of the group's classics, including "Bended Knee" and "End Of The Road." The record, which is expected to drop in the fall, will include production from Babyface, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Teddy Riley, Rob Knox and Julian Bunetta.
Said one of the group's vocalists, Nathan Morris, of the new release: "No matter how many albums we have done throughout the years we always strive to put out the best sounding music possible. We are excited to be in the studio again with the guys who have been a part of some of our biggest hits to date, it's a really good feeling."
Added Shawn Stockman on the sound of the reworked classics: "Nothing too extreme or dramatic, but we've added a few things here and there."

Release Dates Announced For Jay-Z And Kanye's Watch The Throne
Jay-Z and Kanye West have revealed that their new collaborative album Watch the Throne is set for digital release on August 1. The hip-hop giants will also issue physical copies of the new album on August 5.
Earlier this month Hova and Ye made the new disc available for pre-order through the album's official website watchthethrone.com.
The pair produced the album along with help from Swizz Beatz, RZA and the Neptunes. Beyoncé and Frank Ocean also reportedly appear as guest vocalists.
While speaking with Interview magazine in December, Kayne described the disc as "very dark and sexy-like couture hip-hop."

DMX Out Of Jail & Headed For The Studio
DMX has been released from a prison in Yuma, Arizona where he served close to eight months of a one-year sentence for parole violations.
The rapper, born Earl Simmons, was originally set for release last week but was held for an additional week after committing several infractions while locked up.
In an official statement, manger Nakia Walker said it's time for the rapper to put his troubles behind him:
"Earl has so much more to offer the world. His latest project has been on hold for so long! It is now time for X to redefine the world of Hip-Hop with his highly anticipated album of inspirational, painful & street accredited rhymes. It is time to let the Dog out of the kennel."
The rapper himself spoke with AllHipHop.com following his release, saying:
"I spoke to my daughter, I just got off the phone with my wife. I'm going to go see my daughter while the sun is up, then I'm going to be in the studio, man."

Trey Songz To Play Role In The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D
Trey Songz will appear in the upcoming film, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D. The R&B maestro has signed on to play one of the leads in the remake of the 1974 horror pic.
The film tells the story of a group of teenagers who, while stranded in the Texas plains, are set upon by a family of cannibals.
Songz plays the heroic boyfriend of actress Alexandra Daddario, who defends them against the hillbilly killers. Producer Carl Mazzocone, said in a statement, that the 1970s setting will be dropped in favor of a contemporary setting:
"I'm excited to reconceive this iconic horror classic in a contemporary setting for a new generation of horror fans to enjoy."
The film, directed by John Luessenhop, and written by Adam Marcus and Debra Sullivan, is set for release in October 2012.

Usher ft. Ciara - Hot Tottie (Official 2011 Remix)
A new remix version of Usher's song "Hot Tottie," featuring Ciara, recently hit YouTube, thanks to Polow Da Don. The producer has made the track available online and has not yet said why he has released it.
The version of the original song, which is included on Usher's Versus EP, features rapping from Jay-Z and vocals from songwriter Ester Dean. The track peaked to number nine on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and number 21 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The "Goodies" singer was reportedly supposed to be featured on the first edition of the track, as the original tracklisting revealed, but then when the final version came out she was not on the song.

DMX Release Date Postponed
DMX, 40, who was scheduled to be released from prison on Wednesday, will remain behind bars because the embattled rapper tested positive for drugs, according to CNN. His release date has tentatively been pushed to July 19.
Law enforcement officials tell TMZ.com that DMX, real name Earl Simmons, violated a number of rules while serving time in the Yuma State Prison. He was cited for seven disciplinary infractions including drug possession, failing or refusing a drug test, unauthorized smoking, being disrespectful and disorderly conduct.
DMX had served seven months for a probation violation following an arrest in November for failing to check in with his probation officer.
Gary Jenkins, DMX's lawyer, told MTV News that he is still looking into the allegations and is hopeful that his client will get the help he needs.
"I hope that this time he understands that his addiction can't be dealt with privately," Jenkins added.

Lupe Fiasco Says Goodbye To Twitter
Lupe Fiasco is fed up with the social networking site Twitter. In fact, the rapper says he is done with it. In doing so, Lupe has left over 700,000 twits in the lurch.
Lupe sent out what may be his last tweet on July 13:
"i'm quitting twitter. it was fun while it lasted. thanks for the support on #lasers and i will see you all on the road soon. don't forget.Love Always Shines Everytime Remember 2 Smile."
He left his account to the singer Nikki Jean who thanked Lupe for the assist:
"Big thank you to @LupeFiasco for supporting my record. He won't be gone for too long.. Promise ;-)"
Other artists to exit the site include Kid Cudie and Cassie. They both generated new accounts within months.

Lil’ Kim Removed from Monica’s Single, Monica Fights to Get Her Back
Monica is standing up for Lil’ Kim after the rapper’s verse was unexpectedly removed from her new single “Anything (To Find You).”
When the Notorious B.I.G.-sampled song made its debut at No. 71 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart this week, Kim’s name was nowhere in sight. A rep for Monica’s label J Records tells Billboard.com that the raptress was cut entirely from the official version due to contractual issues.
Monica took to Twitter to express her disappointment and vowed to get her friend back on the song. “I am just finding out what has happened to my single and myself & Missy are beyond hurt that @LilKim was removed,” tweeted Monica. “She’s our friend, a legend & @LilKim will get the respect she deserves at all cost. The clearance was revoked & I’m fighting to get it reinstated by the Biggie Estate.”
According to Monica, Biggie’s mother Volleta Wallace did not clear the “Who Shot Ya?” sample with Kim. “We respect all parties involved & were gonna do WHATEVER to keep the song as is because @lilKim the bizness on the record,” she added. “I am as thorough as they come and I LOVE @LilKim bottom line is Ms Wallace has the final say and she said No. If we put it out we get SUED. ”
She responded to upset fans, saying, “Your directing your anger in the wrong place & I am far 2deep in the game 2play games. These r facts. Still fighting 4 Kim to be on it.”
In a previous interview with “The Lil’ Kim Fan Club Show,” the Queen Bee said that her verse was shortened to make room for Rick Ross and that her full rap would appear on Monica’s seventh album, New Life, due in October.
“Monica is one of the realest bitches I’ve met in this game,” said Kim, who is readying the release of her own single “Looks Like Money.”

Lil Wayne has dropped his latest mixtape, Sorry 4 The Wait. The 12-track recording features Wayne freestyling and rapping over samples from Adele's "Rolling In The Deep," Meek Mill and Rick Ross' "Tupac Back," Drake's "Marvin's Room," Kreayshawn's "Gucci Gucci," Miguel's "Sure Thing," and Big Sean's "My Last." Tracks on the tape include Tunechi's "Back," "Rollin'," "Sure Thing," "Racks," "Hands Up," and "Sorry 4 the Wait."

Ice Cube on VH1's Behind The Music
It may have taken nearly three decades, but Ice Cube has finally gotten his own episode of VH1's Behind the Music.
Cube's rise to superstardom began with the rapper, real name O'Shea Jackson, growing up on the tough streets of South Central Los Angeles where he faced gang violence and drug dealers on a daily basis. From there Jackson became Ice Cube and went onto to join N.W.A. and release the album Straight Outta Compton.
After N.W.A. was disbanded, Cube embarked on a highly successful solo career before becoming a move star, starring in such movies as Boyz N the Hood, Friday and the Barbershop series.
"You either have it or you don't and I happen to have it," Cube says during the episode.
On his Behind the Music special, Cube revisits his childhood hangouts with help from friends Snoop Dogg, John Singleton and Nia Long.
Trey Songz Shoots 'Be The One' Music Video With Lloyd
Lloyd has filmed a new music video for his song "Be the One" and enlisted the help of Trey Songz and Young Jeezy to do so. The track serves as the latest single off the rapper's King of Hearts album.
During the "Be the One" video, filmed in Los Angeles, Lloyd can be seen in one scene riding shotgun in a yellow sports car being driven by Trey Songz, and in another scene can be seen with his female co-star, who happens to be topless.
King of Hearts, the follow-up to Lloyd's 2008 disc Lessons in Love, hit store shelves this past week. The new album was produced by Polow Da Don, and features guest appearance by Game, Andre 3000, Chris Brown, R. Kelly and Keri Hilson.

50 Cent Talks New Album & Collaborators
50 Cent revealed details of his latest album's contributors during a radio interview. The 36-year-old rapper noted that 43 songs were recorded during the album sessions with a variety of collaborators.
"I did four songs in Detroit with [Eminem]. I did two with Just Blaze, a Boi-1da joint, and I did something with Alex Da Kid. I got some heat."
Fifty (real name: Curtis James Jackson III) gave further details of his songs with Eminem: "We made two that are definite singles and the other two are the kinds of records that we been making, more aimed at my core audience, more aggressive, more of a different kind of energy to it."
He also explained that the album's name would no longer be Black Magic and said of its sound: "I can't wait till my album comes out. I think things will shift. Everybody who fell in love with what I fell in love with in hip-hop will respond to it because it's got the right tones on it."
Fifty's latest album's release has been delayed due to issues with his record label.
Eminem's Recovery Albums Breaks Digital Sales Records
Eminem has broken digital sales records by becoming the first artist to sell one million digital copies of his album Recovery in the U.S.
The 39-year-old Detroit rapper also scored a number one album with his latest release Hell: The Sequel (which features a collaboration with Royce Da 5'9 as the duo Bad Meets Evil) marking the first time in the last five years that an artist has landed two number one albums in one calendar year.
Noted Eminem's manager Paul Rosenberg: "Over the years we've made a concerted effort to engage Em's online fan base so this achievement is especially rewarding. Eminem made an amazing album with Recovery and the fans responded in record numbers."
Added Interscope Records Vice Chairman Steve Berman: "Recovery selling one million digital albums is an incredible achievement by an incredible artist. I have had the pleasure of working with Eminem throughout the course of his career, and I'm delighted to be a part of yet another milestone on his amazing journey."
Eminem will be headlining this year's Lollapalooza festival on August 6 in Chicago.
