Game Says Dr Dre Is "Like A Father Figure"
Game's long awaited new release, the R.E.D. Album, is set to drop on August 23, and the MC says that Dr. Dre played a large part in shaping the effort. During a recent interview with Fuel TV, Game says that Dre has been a role model throughout his career.
"The best person to work with is probably definitely Dr. Dre," he told the network's The Daily Habit. "He's always been like a father figure, older brother. And it's just like going back to school and somebody really putting in the time to help you with your work ethic."
The R.E.D. Album is Game and Dre's first collaboration in five years and, according to Game, the space was good for their working relationship.
"It was five years, but I kind of think I needed the break. I matured a lot, it helped me grow. I had a lot of time to reflect on my life and my career and to go out there and do it myself," he continued. "But being back with Dr. Dre makes it a lot easier. He's definitely the greatest hip-hop producer of all time, and one of the best producers of all time. No disrespect to Quincy Jones, but Dre's great."

Rihanna Defends "Man Down" Video
Rihanna has taken to Twitter and radio to address the controversy raised by her "Man Down" video, which includes a murder scene at a crowded train station and which the Parents Television Council has called an "inexcusable, shock-only, shoot-and-kill theme song."
The 23-year-old singer posted on her Twitter page on Thursday: "The music industry isn't exactly Parents R Us! We have the freedom to make art, LET US! It's your job to make sure they don't turn out like US."
She also explained the rationale behind the video in a call with BET's 106 and Park show, noting: "I don't like to just make videos. I love to make an experience and this is art with a message. Obviously [the character is] not a cold-blooded killer. It has to be something so offensive and we decided to hone in on a very serious matter that people are afraid to address."
She added: "I personally don't condone violence or murder. I've been abused in the past and you don't see me running around killing people in my spare time. I just want girls to be careful."
